Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Ganling’s heritage is part of her identity as an artist. From a Chinese father and a half Venezuelan and half Italian mother, she integrates and is deeply influenced by these very different but prolific cultures.

Ganling started appreciating the arts at a very young age. From museum expositions, orchestra concerts, to ballet performances, she learned to love and enjoy both music and art. Moving to New York City allowed her to explore and learn about how she relates and interacts with art .
